Mr. Mohamed El-Saman practice primarily concentrating in maritime and shipping disputes, customs, commercial and corporate, construction and real estate, and general business law matters.
Mohamed has over 11 years of experience in litigation and dispute resolution in Egypt, the UAE and GCC counties.
His principal place of practice is Alexandria, Egypt but he also has extensive experience in advising and assisting clients throughout the Arab region and in particular the GCC states where he has worked and advised and attended to projects in United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait and appeared as co-counsel in a number of matters in the GCC counties.
Mohamed has extensive experience in civil, corporate, commercial and banking laws in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait and Egypt. He is handling arbitration under a multiple governing laws and institutional/ad hoc rules, including those of the ICC, LCIA, CRCICA, DIAC ,UNCITRAL and ICSID.
His practice focuses primarily on local and international clients in maritime, banking, corporate, construction and commercial litigation. Handled numerous cross boarder matters which include several jurisdictions abroad.
Mohamed has published a number of articles and books on Corporate, litigation and arbitration in Egypt, the UAE and GCC.
Representing companies before several government authorities including the investment authorities, capital market, Ministry of Trade & Investment, Commercial registry, Customs, Ministry of Finance & Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Transport.
Mohamed received his Bachelor of Law LL.B. degree from the English Department of the faculty of law at Alexandria University in Egypt, and his LL.M. in Law from Alexandria University. He awarded a program in Principles & basics of legal terminology certified from the Alexandria University. And then he successfully completed a program in Civil and Commercial Arbitration certified from the Alexandria University and by the Egyptian Bar Association. He is admitted to appear before courts of first instance, and appeal courts a member of the Egyptian Association Bar.
